As a former student assistant and certified trainer, I believe in the idea of lifelong learning. As a software engineer, I consume the collective wisdom of the internet daily.

But where does knowledge arise? In our daily hands-on work.

The effort of publishing is very low nowadays using CI/CD and static generators.

I regularely contribute to the PnP Core SDK project, here is a list of my contributions in the last years:

• Recycle folder in document library
• New approve permission api
• Bugfix: set sitecollectionadmins groupified sites
• Bugfix: do not return already approved permissionrequests
• Set site collection admins exact, set primary site collection admin
• Move ListItem to sub folder
• Add add, revoke and list grants functionality to ServicePrincipal
• Enable or disable service principal
• Add possibility to get the ServicePrincipal via IAppManager
• Add functionality to list, approve and deny service principal requests
• Support passing X509 object to OnBehalfOfAuthenticationProvider
• Get term by custom property
  • PR: Add ITermSet.GetTermsByCustomProperty method to retrieve a list of terms with a certain custom property key and value

I earned my Master’s (Dipl.-Ing.) in 2006. My thesis can be found here on github and here at TU Graz.

In a crazy effort, I tried get my thesis project (php4 and mysql4) back up and running with containers, btw. such a thing didn’t exist back then. Nevertheless, source code and a docker compose environment can be found here on github.
